Workshop discusses sustainability in business

Given the demands of participating companies of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), the Program created a workshop of sustainability in business to be held on March 28 from 2pm to 7pm, at the headquarters of Abit (968 Marques de Itu Street, Jardins, Sao Paulo).

The seminars are designed to provide new opportunities for brands to strengthen and increase their competitive edge in the world market, making use of good social responsibility practices.  Among the topics under discussion is the close relationship between social and environmental issues and the day-to-day management business. The workshop seeks to blur the idea that sustainability is just about the environment, directing it to a new way of creating value for business and society.

Besides that, the Quality and Sustainability Certification of the Textile and Fashion Industry – Selo Qual, an engine specially developed to help companies in the industry to insert best practices of Sustainability in management and product development – will also be presented in the occasion.
