Dudalina opens stores in Malaysia and Kazakhstan

11/21/2016

Dudalina opened its first two stores in Asia during the last week in October: one in Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia, and another in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The new operations are, respectively, the 13th and 14th for the company, which is a member of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

The goal is to find partners that have the Dudalina spirit and target influential markets in the region, as is the case of Malaysia, which will focus on South Asian operations, and of Kazakhstan, which will influence the entire East European and Northern Asia operation. “There were many years of negotiations until the opening of these two stores became a reality. In addition to an excellent position for the brand, there is a market to be explored in these two countries,” says Thiago Guilherme Raitez, who is responsible for the international business area.

Last week, Dudalina held two other openings in South America – the brand’s third store in Quito, Ecuador, and its second store in the Paraguayan capital of Asuncion – bringing the label’s number of total stores abroad to 16.
