L’ete and Mini U.S. take part in 22nd Fashion Weekend Kids
The fun L’ete and the irreverent Mini U.S. took part in the 22nd edition of Fashion Weekend Kids last Sunday, a major kidswear event that takes place in Sao Paulo. The brands – members of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – showed their F/W 2016 collections on the last day of fashion shows at the event.
L’ete kicked off the line-up with a beachwear collection filled with strong colors and neon prints, coloring the runway. “Taking part in Fashion Weekend Kids was very important, both to publicize the brand and collection and to build relations with customers,” says the brand’s director, Fernanda Scatamacchia.
Mini U.S. showed an urban and hip collection, featuring unique washes and bringing the trend of comics, camouflage and rock n’ roll to the runway. “We are always at FWK and we love the event! We always bring something new to the runway, and this time the theme was music, so we brought in Rogerio Flausino to take charge of the Mini Monkeys gathered here,” says owner Tico Sahyoun.
This show also included participation by FAH (Fundacao Amor Horizontal), a project by businesswoman Carol Celico which holds sweater drives for children from 56 institutions and which brought some of the kids who walked the runways at the event. L’ete and Mini U.S. did their part by donating one piece from their new collections, with proceeds going towards the Foundations work.
