Circulo S.A. launches digital fabrics collection for patchwork
Circulo S.A., one of the largest manufacturers of craft yarns and fabrics in Brazil, is introducing its new collection of digital fabrics for patchwork. The company, which since 2007 has been a member Texbrasil – Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – is using digital printing, known for its high definition and unlimited number of colors, for its new line
This is a unique process where the print is made directly onto the fabric, resulting in a shiny finish with a great feel. “It’s a less polluting method, since it consumes less water and fewer chemical components,” shares Onsi de Oliveira Junior, the company’s marketing manager. The digital collection, which contains 21 prints done on 100% cotton with a 200 thread count, is already available at notions and crafts stores in Brazil.
