Aline Zattar is the face of 2Rios plus size collection
In a constant effort to serve the most varied body types, 2Rios asked model Aline Zattar, the winner of the Miss Brasil Plus Size contest in 2013, to be the face of its new plus size collection. The company, a member of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – has always been concerned with creating democratic lingerie, with an exclusive design and the right cut for curvy bodies.
“We did a lot of research on the plus size market and saw that we needed to have unique color and cut options. Consumers were complaining that there was no variety in pieces or in color options. Our team went big with the line; we have floral, strappy, body and boy shorts underwear, with a wide portfolio of colors,” says the president of 2Rios, Matheus Fagundes.
Lingerie will come in sizes ranging from 46 to 54 and will also have reinforced straps, better side support and deeper cups. “We are looking for people who feel good about themselves, who love themselves and are looking to show the best of themselves,” says Idaiane Ricardi, marketing coordinator. The company has approximately 2,000 points of sale across Brazil and also exports to over 20 countries. All of the models are on sale now at the brand’s online store.
