2Rios Lingerie celebrates success in Curve Expo
From August 6th to 8th, 2Rios Lingerie took part in Curve Expo, an important beachwear and underwear trade fair, which received more than 350 exhibitors from all over the world in New York City, United States. With the support of Texbrasil – Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – the company attracted the international public with innovative and comfortable products.
“Our participation was great and the result exceeded expectations. In addition to good contacts from several regions of the United States and Canada, we also made good sales of the launch with Fresh technology – the Permanent Protection Panties – that works against fungus, bacteria and odors”, said 2Rios Lingerie President Matheus Fagundes. The piece, which has undergone international laboratory tests that confirm the effectiveness of its technology, can go through the washing process hundreds of times without losing the effect.
The president of the Brazilian brand also revealed that the reception of the North American market with the health-related product was very good, but surprised him to be the only company to expose this technology in the trade fair. “This shows how Brazil can present important technologies and innovations in other markets beyond fashion”, said Matheus. During the event, the company closed deals worth USD 20,000, with sales expectations of USD 200,000 for the next 12 months.
The next edition of Curve Expo takes place in February 2018.
Project brings good business for Brazilian companies
From August 14 to 16, the city of Las Vegas, in the United States, hosted one of the most important contemporary fashion, denim and accessories trade fairs on the west coast of the country: Project. With the support of Texbrasil – Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – two Brazilian brands participated in the event: T. Arrigoni and 86A jeans.
As a result, the companies expect more than USD 100,000 in established deals with the contacts made at the event. The next edition of Project is already scheduled for February 12, 2018.
