Colombiatex 2017 welcomes Brazilian delegation with 26 companies

A group of 26 Brazilian companies is coming to Medellin, Colombia from January 24 to 26 to take part in the 29^th edition of Colombiatex de las Américas – one of the biggest trade shows for fabrics, supplies, machinery and chemicals for the apparel industry in Latin America. The brands are going to the show with the support of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Canatiba, Capricornio Textil, Cataguases, Cedro Textil, Coltex, Covolan, Dalila, Digitale Textil, Expor Manequins, Farbe, Fiorella, Hudtelfa, Kalimo, Modelle, Nicoletti, Paramount, Rhodia, Rosset, RVB Malhas, Sancris, Santaconstancia, Santana Textil, Santanense, Santista, Salotex and Vicunha are part of the Brazilian delegation taking part in business talks with Colombian executives and showing their biggest launches and innovations to the textile and fashion chain.

“Colombia is increasingly attractive to executives in Brazil, and Colombiatex is the best scenario for trade meetings. These 26 Brazilian companies represent the best of the industry and the most important advances for apparel and fashion,” says Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Manager at Texbrasil. The last edition of the show was attended by 14,000 national and international buyers, bringing together over 500 exhibitors from around the world.

Brazil will have an institutional space at the event, showcasing highlights from companies with Abit/Texbrasil, the Brazilian Association of the Machinery and Equipment Industry (Abimaq) and the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal).
