Patricia Bonaldi launches collection for New Year’s

Brazilians love to wear white on New Year’s Eve.This custom comes from Afro-Brazilian religions like Candomble and Umbanda, which believe that white represents peace, kindness and purity. Designer Patricia Bonaldi used this inspiration to create a mini collection developed just for this occasion.

There are five short, form-fitting dresses – four have long sleeves and one has short sleeves.The designer’s trademark use of sophisticated lace and elaborate embroidery (in blue, silver and gold) make the dresses glamorous. The line gains a sensual touch with plunging necklines, localized cutouts and transparency on sleeves.
