Vicunha Textil joins innovation and sustainability in its S/S 2020
Vicunha Textil, a member brand of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – held through a partnership between Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) – is launching a S/S 2020 collection inspired by the concept of Future Loading.
Based on the idea that the future is open to possibilities, the textile-maker is launching a collection that reinforces its position of joining sustainability with efficiency and innovation. The goal is to keep pace with the mindset of new generations, which is in line the 4.0 movement, showing that this new age is fluid, timeless and comes with countless opportunities for change.
Among products being launched are additional items in the denim and ecological color family, with the Eco Cycle seal, such as the Absolut Eco line, which saves up to 95% on water and up to 90% on chemicals, and the Eco Squash Color twill, made using recycled PET bottles. Color Recycle is also being launched with new features: aimed at rational water and chemical use by applying a coating on natural fabric, reducing water consumption by 32% and chemical consumption by 53%.
The manufacturer is also introducing the Metallic Denim & Color super premium product line, created to make jeans more glamorous with LUREX® fibers used throughout. Other highlights are super elastic items with Extreme Power, in addition to new 100% cotton items that bring back a vintage look by reinterpreting the classics.
