Young Brazilian designers take part in events at Japanese stores
Brazilian labels Cynthia Hayashi, Gralias, Gabrielab, Trendt and Karin Feller, members of BtoBe (Brazilians to Be), an incubator for new designers by Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a Program developed by Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), are taking part in two special activities in Japan in May 2015: an event at the Cry boutique, in Tokyo, on the 16th and 17th, and another at the Love Trip store, in Fukuoka, on the 23rd. Focusing on the end consumer, these activities allow customers to pre-order from the collections.
Three designers attended the launches – Gabriela Braga (Gabrielab), Renan Serrano (Trendt), and Karin Feller, allowing them to build closer ties with consumers, improving the connections between them and making it possible to better understand local tastes. In addition, these events capture interest from other boutiques in the market – such as Viastique, in Nagoya – where a special initiative should take place in early June.
The Japanese public is already familiar with Karin Feller, Cynthia Hayashi, Trendt and Gralias, since they previously took part in the Bring showroom, which also houses other Texbrasil members such as Colcci, DB Rainbow and Scarf Me.
