From July 19 to 20, the city of New York is hosting the year’s second edition of Premiere Vision NY, the traditional show gathering exhibitors from the textiles, supplies and print segments, in addition to producers of leather and accessories as well as design studios from across the world. This edition of the event will host four Brazilian brands with the support of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency): Berlan, Elaia, Kalimo and Savyon.

“The NY show is confirmation of the trends shown at the ‘Preview’ and allows us to add families of products, if needed for PV Paris as well as to the collection on the Brazilian market. It’s a show where we always get great and lucrative new contacts, in addition to being an important showcase for our company in the American market,” says Laurent Prout, export manager at Savyon. The company will show its F/W 2017 collection at the event, notable for its technological innovations in jacquard techniques and designs attuned to international fashion trends.

While Kalimo has developed a special collection for the North American market focused on digital prints. “We came to NY expecting to exchange experiences with other markets and show products and prints that have our spirit, and the work done by hand by our artistic team, which is quite consolidated in Brazil, is already fascinating brands the world over,” says Talita Khalifeh, the export manager for the company, which is launching a showroom in the city of Los Angeles before the end of this month.

The event will announce collections and launches for F/W 2017-18 for around 360 international exhibitors and will also include various seminars and areas with trends and colors for the season.
