Skazi presents a new collection for the international market

03/27/2020

In February, the Brazilian clothing brand Skazi launched its autumn/winter collection on the international market. Aviation was the guiding thread for the creation of 70 pieces by the brand that is part of Texbrasil (Program for the Internationalization of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Clothing Industry Association) and Apex- Brazil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency).

Skazi’s idea was to use fashion to reflect free, strong, and globalized women. Military inspiration is present in the shades of green, caramel, and wine, but in balance with the delicacy of the fabrics and embroidery.

Letícia Morado, international business manager for the brand in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, explains that within the collection presented in Brazil, with 700 items, specific pieces are selected for the international profile. “We take into account factors such as culture, temperature, fabrics, and habits”, explains the executive about the choice of items that are exported.

The company was able to exhibit the collections at two international events, in which it had the support of Texbrasil. In Paris, Skazi participated in Tranoï, while in New York it was part of the Brazilian delegation that was at Coterie. Letícia celebrated the reception of Skazi in these regions and stressed that there are still other markets of interest for the brand outside Brazil, such as the Asian market.
