Texbrasil invites six international buyers to participate in a business agenda in Sao Paulo

From June 18 to 20, Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – is promoting visits by six international buyers to the city of Sao Paulo.

Alejandro Fabricio Sanchez Estrella (Ecuador), from the Sock Shop store; Lucy Yelena Estrella Naranjo (Ecuador), of Mix Two; Ozema Yajaira Faxas Sanchez (Dominican Republic), of Magnetique; Mario Oscar Zaidman Sabsay (Peru), of Grupo Axis; and Elena Nakonechnaya (Russia) and Nurfiza Kachybekova (Russia), of Jessica Store, are coming to the city in search of the biggest trends for the season in the beachwear, underwear and fitness segments.

Business meetings at showrooms, factories and retail stores are on the schedule put together by the Program team. In addition, the buyers have a confirmed visit to one of the biggest industry events in Latin America, Salao Moda Brasil, which is taking place from June 18 to 20 in Sao Paulo.

The Rosset, Berlan, Digitale Textil, Intima Passion Lingeri, Recco Lingeri and Mari M Lingeri companies, all Texbrasil members, are showing their products and collections at SMB 2018. The expo area will cover nearly 50,000 square meters, with the last edition of the show bringing in BRL 800 million in business done between national and international buyers and the 400 exhibitors in attendance.

According to Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Manager of Texbrasil, Sao Paulo is notable for holding the largest number of recognized brands. “it is a city with many business possibilities. And when we invite buyers, we do everything possible to set up a personalized agenda for each segment, which is not only rich, but also gives us better chances to achieve great results,” she says.
