Adriana Degreas develops collection for Riachuelo

11/25/2013

Designer Adriana Degreas, a member of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil) is one of the fashion celebrities behind the Fashion Five line at Riachuelo. The collections, which go on sale at the store on Thursday (28/Nov.), were developed and conceptualized by a famous group that also includes designers Dudu Bertholini and Teca’s Helo Rocha, bloggers Camila Coutinho of “Garotas Estupidas” and Thassia Naves of “Blog da Thassia,” accessories designer Raphael Falci, singer Claudia Leitte, stylist Matheus Massafera, former model Fernanda Motta and British consultant Robert Forrest.

Each celebrity invited created five items. Each participant was able to follow their own inspiration, freely choosing a color portfolio and the fabrics that appealed to them the most. According to Marcella Kanner, Riachuelo’s Marketing Manager, the overarching aim of the Fashion Five is “to join people from different walks of life.”

Adriana Degreas already has experience with department stores. In July of this year, the designer was given a permanent space in the legendary Le Bon Marché store of Paris, after an initiative held there with the support of the Texbrasil Program. “Le Brésil – Rive a gauche” drew the Parisian public by capitalizing on aspects of Brazilian culture aimed at Europeans in order to promote exports to this market and position Brazil’s image abroad.
