09/27/2013

The F/W edition of Première Vision Paris and Indigo, which ended on September 19, were cause for celebration for Brazilian brands. The trade show, one of the biggest in the international textile industry and features the top trends and innovations, was supported by Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), which was developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and brought five companies to the showroom: Cataguases, Savyon, Lu Dumaux, Juliana Rabinovitz and Natural Cotton Color.

With around 1,800 exhibitors and more than 45,000 national and international visitors – including wholesalers, retailers and the press – Brazilian brands made 382 contacts with countries such as China, Japan, France, the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain and Italy. Over USD 200,000 in business was generated from these contacts, with over USD 500,000 expected for the coming year. One company in particular had a major reason to celebrate these results: “At Première Vision Paris, Savyon beat its sales record,” said Laurent Maurice, the brand’s Export Manager.

The next edition will take place next year, from February 18 to 20.
