Brazilian fitness and beachwear brands will attend California event
On January 11 and 12, three Brazilian companies will be in Anaheim, California, located in Orange County. GarotaFit, Sinesia Karol and Charmosa Swimwear are taking part in major beachwear and fitnesswear events in the USA.
Sinesia Karol and Charmosa Swimwear will be at Swim Collective, specializing in the beach, resort and surfing segment. While GarotaFit is taking part in the Active Collective show, geared towards fitnesswear. They are participating with the support of the Abit and Abest internationalization programs, respectively Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) and Fashion Label Brasil, both held in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
Each event is held twice annually: once in January and once in August. There are usually around 1,000 specialized retail buyers, particularly from the west coast of the USA and Hawaii, drawing over 300 exhibitors.
This is the first year that the shows are taking place at the same time and in the same place, thanks to an expansion that took place in late 2017, which included launching a New York edition of the fitnesswear show called Active Collective East. After the success of this new venture, a S/S edition should be held on August 24 and 25.
