Capricornio Textil has a luminous S/S 2018 collection

Capricórnio Textil is introducing its new tones of blue in light and fresh fabrics, following the strong S/S 2018 trend containing elements of the 1990s. “For next season, we are going with the trend of luminous blues. We are investing in innovation to offer new structures and new colors,” says Maria Jose Orione, the Planning and Marketing Director at the company, which is a member of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Among highlights is the color Ink Blue, found in three items with a subtle ring effect. In 3×1 twill with a special width, Salina is 100% cotton, weighing 8 oz. with a width of 1.7 meters. While Lido is made of cotton, polyester and elastane, weighing 8.5 oz. with a width of 1.5 meters. Murano is made of cotton and elastane, weighing 9 oz. with a width of 1.54 meters. Both have high and soft power.

Geared towards the destroyed washes trend, three new articles have been included in the collection. Borba, in Blue, and Zamora, in Blue Black are 100% cotton weighing 9 oz., in 3×1 twill with a width of 1.7 meters. While Prince comes in cotton and polyester, in the color Intense Black, weighing 8.5 oz., in 3×1 twill with a width of 1.65 meters.

Representing “Sartorial Blues” are four new items in the collection with significant stretch power and colors that are intensified by a black weave. Setubal weighs 8 oz. and comes in 3×1 twill in the color Blue. Merida has the same construction and weight, but comes in the color Blue Black. In addition, there is also Crio, in satin, in the color Intense Blue, and Toulon, also in satin and in the color Carbon Blue. Rounding out the collection is Tetis, in cotton and elastane with comfort stretch, with 3×1 construction, a width of 1.53 meters and a weight of 9 oz.
