The small village of Trancoso, Bahia, was founded in the 16th century and today has a business community filled with restaurants and stores, operating out of colorful houses. Within this context, Dudalina Feminina, a member brand of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), has taken inspiration from the local culture to develop a colorful collection filled with prints and embroidery.

The line features trends for S/S aligned with beautiful natural surroundings of Trancoso, with the blue of the see becoming a background for colorful prints. The lightness of the fabrics and a polished roughness light up the collection. Designs incorporate Bahian culture with the essence of the village. Calico renewed with traditional elements and a vanguard touch, African animals and striped prints are reminiscent of its cultural heritage.

In the color portfolio, nudes and beiges mix with more illuminated tones, creating points of light in the collection. The highlight of the collection is Orange Red, a red that burns bright. There are flowing dresses, knits with delicate details and light tops. Wide-leg crop trousers, denim items and long print skirts are also part of the portfolio.

In addition to launching the line, the brand opened another of its label store on November 18, at Shopping Bossa Nova, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). The “Trancoso” collection is already on sale at the store.
