On July 2-4, France hosted Interfilière and Curve Paris, two important events for the lingerie, fitness and beachwear segments. Interfilière brings together 160+ producers of inputs to the industry, such as fabrics, laces and textile accessories, while Curve is the summer edition of Salon International de la Lingerie, which counted on the participation of 138 brands. The events received a total of 5,150 purchasers, according to the host WSN.

Brazilian brands 2Rios, Kirimurê, Lenny Niemeyer, Rio de Sol, Savyon and Serpentina attended the event with the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), which is a result from partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Agency for Promotion of Exports and Investments) and Abit (Brazilian Association of the Textile and Apparel Industry). During the event, the business transactions amounted to over US$ 226 thousand, with an expected return of US$ 457 thousand during the year. 138 new contacts were made with the buyers present.

According to Daves Silva, representative of the accessories and semi-jewelry brand Kirimurê, Interfilière results were positive for the company, generating contacts with purchasers from France, England, Switzerland, Romania and India. “For us, it has been very important the approval of our products in such demanding markets. The support provided by the Texbrasil team was essential to our participation in the tradeshow,” explains Daves.

Danielle Araujo, executive officer at Lenny Niemeyer beachwear brand, celebrated the results in Curve Paris, which exceeded the company expectations. “Texbrasil team supported us in each detail of the event organization. The infrastructure and reach of the tradeshow are very good,” completes Danielle.

“Joint conduction of Interfilière and Curve Paris brings together the whole ecosystem of intimate wear, beachwear and fitness wear in a single place, thus making businesses easier. We are happy to have Brazilian fashion representatives attending the event,” concludes Lilian Kaddissi, executive Superintendent of strategic projects at Abit.
