Lisa Riedt joins beauty and comfort in 100% Brazilian label

Founded in Miami, U.S.A., in 2003 by designer Elisa Riedtmann, the Lisa Riedt brand was created with the purpose of joining aesthetics and comfort. The upscale beachwear brand is geared towards the elegant and cosmopolitan woman that is looking for practical sophistication, while also promoting the identity of the Brazilian product, with items made in Brazil using high-tech fabrics and the very particular cut of Brazilian beachwear. “Our goal is to strengthen the image of the 100% made in Brazil brand, offering items with unique designs, prints and cuts, reinforcing our identity and at the same time meeting international standards of quality,” says Elisa.

The label is already found at five star hotels, spas, resorts and luxury boutiques: “our brand is part of the lifestyle book at the Trump family’s Acqualina hotel, in Miami, in the United States, and at the Copacabana Palace Hotel, in Rio de Janeiro,” she says. The designer also talked about continued plans for expansion and how the brand has already created a strategy to conquer the European market. “We have closed deals in Europe and the United States with department stores. We found a European executive that will be in charge of strengthening our ties with customers that are already interested in the brand, which will reinforce and facilitate negotiations.”

With a focus on the international market, the Lisa Riedt brand is a member of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil) and has just returned from the Miami Swim Show & Lingerie Show in the U.S.A. All of these trade shows that we take part in are great, but this was the best one in terms of immediate results. We signed a lot of contracts at our stand during the other editions of the trade show. And these customers came back to buy from the brand totally satisfied. This is our third time at the show,” she says.

The brand is mostly found at high end hotel and resort complexes in the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic, among others. It is continuing to expand to markets in the Caribbean islands, Mexico, Australia, France, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Argentina.
