One of the main fashion capitals of the world, Milan, received in September seven companies participating in Texbrasil and now they share the good results obtained after attending events held in the city. Brazilian fashion representatives received support from Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) and Fashion Label Brasil — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association), Abest (Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers), and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Vestô, Ateliê Mão de Mãe, Meninos Rei, Libertees,  KF Branding, from Texbrasil, and Catarina Mina, attended the seventh edition of the Fashion Vibes RunWay Show, which took place on September 20 and 23. Natural Cotton Color, recognized for its work with naturally colored organic cotton, brought news during the Sustainable & Ethical Showroom, which took place on September 20 and 26.

Together, between deals made during the events and sales prospects for the next 12 months, the companies made more than USD 235,000. They also made more than 122 new contacts from countries such as Italy, Greece, and France.

Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Superintendent of Strategic Projects at Abit, spoke about the participation of brands participating in the Program. “The presence of these companies at Fashion Vibes and Sustainable & Ethical Showroom allows us to further promote the internationalization of Brazilian fashion. This increases our performance in exports of products with high added value to several countries,” she concludes.
