New York receives Brazilian brands at Coterie and Magic trade shows
As of Sunday (19), the Coterie and Magic trade shows start in New York. 16 brands will be participating with the support of Texbrasil and Fashion Label Brasil, carried out through partnerships between Texbrasil and Fashion Label Brasil, Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Abest (Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers), respectively.
The events, held by Informa Market, return to the face-to-face format with a special version, which also includes the Children’s Club in a Coterie pavilion. This is also the first time that Magic, which has a Las Vegas edition, gets a New York version. The apparel, footwear, and accessories trade show focuses on contemporary luxury brands and current fashion trends. The companies Zinzane and Planet Sea participate in Texbrasil.
Coterie, on the other hand, is one of the most renowned women’s fashion and accessories trade shows in the United States. Besides having the participation of major brands, it hosts the largest North American retailers.
This year the event receives the Texbrasil brands: Amapô, Barbara Bela, Eneida França, Paola Benardi, Nay Sunsetwear and Andrea Bogosian. The participants from Fashion Label Brasil are Serpui, Nádia Gimenes, Gissa Bicalho, Lavish, Sinesia Karol, Yukio, Andreza Chagas and Catarina Mina.
The trade shows take place in parallel at the Jacob Javits Center and run until next Tuesday (21).
