PatBO presents collection at New York Fashion Week with immersive experience

02/19/2024

During New York Fashion Week, the Brazilian brand PatBO, a member of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency), presented its Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Under the creative direction of Patricia Bonaldi, the collection, entitled “Femme Frames”, highlighted the fusion between innovation and tradition, highlighting the diversity of contemporary women.

The collection incorporated a variety of fabrics and artisanal techniques, from embroidered velvet to crepe with laser-cut holes. The lace added a touch of delicacy, while the handmade embroidery brought a feeling of strength and confidence to the pieces.

The silhouettes were bold, with details made with crystals and luxurious fabrics, conveying a message of sophistication and resilience. The color palette, predominantly in shades of black and off-white, with subtle touches of emerald green, brought a discreet elegance to the collection.

In addition to the clothes, the collaboration with footwear brand Schutz added a new dimension to the presentation. The shoes reinterpreted classic shapes with a contemporary touch, such as the pump with a sculptural heel in reflective material and the sandals with ultra-thin straps.

The show, held at Surrogates Court House, was attended by influential names in fashion and culture, such as Soffi Tukker, Liz Gillies, Malu Borges and Alexandre Birman. The opening was marked by a performance by the Joffrey ballet troupe, setting the stage for a celebration of the evolution of femininity in the 21st century.

With “Femme Frames”, PatBO not only presented a fashion collection, but also created a visual narrative that captured the essence of the contemporary woman, highlighting her diversity and multifaceted nature.
