The F/W edition of Premiere Vision Paris was held September 13 to 15 and included attendance by nine Brazilian brands that are members of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Berlan, Britânnia, Cataguases, Elaiá, La Estampa, Moltec Brasil, Niu Estúdio, Oficina Lamparina and Savyon celebrated the results achieved at the event, one of the world’s most traditional textile trade shows. Together, they did around USD 32,000 in business and expect to bring in USD 6.1 million in the next 12 months.

Elaia, a print studio that opened two years in Santa Catarina, introduced designs inspired by the cultural diversity and nature in Brazil to a diverse public of wholesalers, retailers and the international press. “We continued partnerships with customers in various countries, such as France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Germany and entered new markets, such as Morocco and Russia,” says Bruno Hansen, director of the studio, which was at the event for the third time in a row. Elaia currently sells to over 20 countries worldwide.

Another studio returning to Brazil with good results was Oficina Lamparina. Its prints caught the attention of new and old customers, who were back to buy. “The show was very productive. We increased our direct sales at the stand and made contacts with new representatives and future customers,” says the brand’s head designer, Adriana Ferraz.

Over three days, the event featured launches from more than 1,900 exhibitors from 57 countries, in the yarns, fabrics, leather, design, accessories and apparel segments.
