Texbrasil invites international buyers to Brasil Eco Fashion Week
This Thursday (26th), the Brasil Eco Fashion Week business rounds begin. This year, the fashion and sustainability event takes place online and includes the participation of international buyers invited by Texbrasil (Program for the Internationalization of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Association of the Textile Industry) and Clothing) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency).
The stores Alejandra Montaner, from Spain, Brazilian Bikini Shop, from France, Borogodó, from Spain, and Boutique Bloom, from Mexico, participate in rounds with eight Texbrasil brands. They are: Pano Social, Natural Cotton Color, Ana de Jour, Antique Chic (Panoh), Contextura, Juliana Gevaerd, Ecofante and Timirim.
Fashion shows
In addition to the rounds, the event will also have fashion shows, which also start this Thursday. The fashion brand Natural Cotton Color take part with a retrospective of the last 15 years producing fashion with organic colored cotton from Paraíba.

The objective is to reaffirm that the clothes of Natural Cotton Color are timeless, using classic references of trends” explains Rafael Lemos, designer and stylist of Senai Paraíba, and in charge of the curators team of the parade next to the Natural Cotton Color’s CEO, Francisca Vieira.
The program also includes the brands Nuz Demi Couture, Nalimo, Ronaldo Silvestre, TA Studio, AfroRicky, Eneas Netto, Rico Bracco, Justa Trama, W’e’ena Tikuna Arte Indígena, Movin, Comas + Flavia Amadeu, Manuí Brasil, Libertees, Leandro Castro, VIHE, Catarina Mina, and Jouer Couture.
Catarina Mina will debut on the BEFW (Brazilian Eco Fashion Week) catwalk with a collection developed in a project with 120 craftswomen from Ceará. Meanwhile W’e’ena Tikuna Arte Indígena will present the indigenous graphisms, and the Tururi fabric, typical of the Tikuna people.
