Brazilian brands participate in business rounds with international buyers at Veste Rio
Veste Rio, one of the main events of Brazilian fashion commercial promotion, had its first digital edition in July, with the participation of 10 Texbrasil and Fashion Label Brasil companies, internationalization projects carried out through partnerships between Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association), and Abest (Brazilian Stylists Association), respectively.
The brands Alto Giro, Amir Slama, Clube Bossa, Maria Pavan, Nhall Resortwear, NovoLouvre, Adriana Degreas, Blue Man y Vitor Zerbinato, from Texbrasil, in addition to Trya, from Fashion Label Brasil, took part in virtual rounds with Texbrasil guest purchasers.
The companies were able to talk directly with representatives from Pamela Shiffer (England), Enfit (Chile), Fashion Jardim (United Arab Emirates), Sunset Shack (Aruba), Areia Rosa (Venezuela), Lillian Summa (Venezuela), in addition to consulting services supporting retailers such as Harvey Nichols, Lines Consulting, based in France.
The brands achieved around USD 50,000 during the event and prospected over USD 220,000 for the following 12 months.
That was the first time Veste Rio held a virtual edition, which had major support from Joor, one of the main international platforms specialized in B2B business, which gathers over 200,000 registered purchasers from over 144 countries.
In addition to the Business Trade Show, Veste Rio also promotes mentorships for entrepreneurs and students and masterclasses on the main topics of Brazilian fashion and their opportunities.
