Brazilian brands prospect new business during Tranoï
Two Brazilian companies represented Brazil at Tranoï, one of the largest fashion events in France, taking place from September 30th to October 5th during Paris Fashion Week. The Leafy and Raíssa brands are members of Texbrasil (The Internationalization Program of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
Back on Brazilian soil, the companies accounted for the results and, together, made at least 45 contacts and reached almost 290 thousand dollars, between direct sales at the trade show and expectations for the next 12 months. The numbers show that the buyers of the event liked the collections. Leafy focused on sustainable pieces and Raíssa showed clothes with a very romantic style.
According to Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Manager of the Texbrasil program, the results show that the international market is already showing signs of improvement “Slowly events are resuming physical spending without abandoning the virtual business tools, and the industry will soon feel the wind of that recovery”, she added.
