Brazilian Print Shop Dash Studios Partners with Australian Brand

In 2020, Dash Studios has expanded its business to Australia. The company, which is a member of Texbrasil (The Internationalization Program of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – has partnered with the Australian modern fashion brand Sheike. 

According to the studio’s head of strategic management, design, and innovation, Fábio Garcia, the first contact with Sheike took place through the brand’s agents in the country. “They were looking for designs that resembled summer and the Mediterranean, including Sicilian limes which are characteristic of Italian regions”, he explains. 

The designs are entirely developed by the studio. All elements are exclusive and handcrafted, made with different techniques, from paintings to digital drawing. 

According to Fábio, the partnership was very positive: “Their climate resembles ours by a lot, tropical, and communications went smoothly, resulting in a work that has pleased both sides”, he believes. 

According to the executive, Australia was already a target market for the brand, which has been preparing for over a year to join the country, taking part in international trade shows. The brand has been in several events with the support of Texbrasil, including the Première Vision trade show in Paris and NY. In addition to Oceania, the print shop operates in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
