For next summer, Cantão imagines a trip around the world

Brazilian label Cantão – a member of the Texbrasil group – has taken inspiration from a trip around the world to create its S/S 2014 collection. Creations mix the feel of the highways of the United States, the spirituality of the Andes, the romanticism of the Amalfi Coast and the peacefulness of Indochina to provide trends from the four corners of the earth.

The garments feature a light and flowing fit. However, there is also room for structured items made using salmon leather. Prints feature geographic maps, geometric designs and tropical illustrations. The color portfolio is full of monochromatic tones, like green and red. Materials used include taffeta, silk, organza, jeans and indigos.

The newest part of the collection is the brand’s partnership with renowned Italian shoemaker Superga. White leather footwear features a vulcanized sole and is stamped with the Cantão logo.
