Lalibela joins the Texbrasil Program
Lalibela joined the Texbrasil group of companies (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
The Santa Catarina brand founded in 2020 by Kaká Grossenbacher, emerged from the combination of the businesswoman’s two passions: fashion and travel. The need to transmit and dress the culture of the countries he visits is one of the pillars that guide the creation of the label’s pieces. The importance of this aspect was what gave rise to the choice of the name, which refers to a historic city in Ethiopia. Full of symbolism, with great respect for individuality and valuing timeless clothing, the company promises to be the new national bet.
Despite being new to the market, Lalibela was born from the expertise in the textile industry of its founder, who grew up and graduated in this environment where her family has been present for over 30 years. Production is 100% in-house, with the meticulous attention of the creative team, from the decision of the fabrics, 80% of which are flat, to the construction of the editorial, a fact that guarantees a quality product with unique details. Created to accompany the urban woman in any situation, the brand’s proposal is to ensure the connection with the contemporary without giving up femininity and romanticism.
“I was missing a brand in the market that combined quality, good price and style, so I decided to create Lalibela. As it was born within an already solidified textile company, this allowed us to create and offer a competitive product that, at the same time, is chic and timeless.”, says Kaká, founder and creative director of the brand.
With the objective of democratizing fashion, the label bets on a range of sizes ranging from XS to XL, focusing on smart items that ensure production with a lot of fashion information even in the most basic looks. The use of fabrics with great touch and fit, such as linen, cotton and viscose, is a key aspect of the brand’s identity. The collections are dynamic and have capsule launches every six weeks, and can be purchased at wholesale and retail, through the e-commerce itself.
Seeking to offer a complete and differentiated experience to partners and consumers, the service has a team of specialists available with product and styling tips. In addition, it has a high domain of process and vertical creation, in order to ensure the best and most modern for customers.
