Texbrasil invites international buyers and journalists to the 20th edition of Minas Trend

Minas Trend is celebrating its 10-year anniversary in 2017, having established its place on the Brazilian fashion calendar as one of the biggest platforms for launches and business in Brazil. The 20^th edition of the event, held by the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG), will take place April 4 to 7, at Expominas, in Belo Horizonte (MG), welcoming a group of six international buyers and six journalists at the invitation of Texbrasil – Brazilian Textile and Fashion Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Guests journalists documenting the fashion shows and launches from Brazilian brands during the event include Ana Lucia Gutierrez (The Big Brown Eyes blog – Bolivia), Carolina Suarez (Sociales VIP magazine – Bolivia), Carly Banegas (Cosas magazine – Bolivia), Gabriela Moreira (Flur Magazine – Uruguay) and Lavinia Muñoz (El Universal newspaper – Mexico).

Ademir Azevedo (Dot Store – Argentina), Andrea Bakulic and Milena Bakulic (Lemonaki – Chile), Augusta Milberg (Morphology Concept Store – Peru), Laurencio Adot (Laurencio Store – Argentina) and Monica Osma (Isidra – Peru) are the buyers coming to the country to see Brazilian collections for the S/S 2018 season and do business during and after the event.

There will be a total of 201 exhibitors, with 13 Texbrasil member companies at the business talks: Apartamento 03, Fabiana Milazzo, Feriado Nacional, Intima Passion, Liziane Richter, LN Deluxe, Lucas Magalhaes, Maria Pavan, PatBo, Patricia Bonaldi, Patricia Motta, Sol e Ondas and Victor Dzenk. Victor Dzenk and Lucas Magalhães are among the labels confirmed for the line-up of fashion shows.

Ten years of work with the industry’s production chain is the theme inspiring the 20^th edition of Minas Trend, which was named “year.ten” and will welcome around 15,000 attendees. Actions will be highlighted to reposition and qualify apparel, footwear, jewelry, costume jewelry and accessories made in Minas Gerais.
