Vicunha introduces launches for summer at German show

01/20/2017

Vicunha Textil is presenting its launches for S/S ’18 at the next edition of the Munich Fabric Start, a traditional European textile industry event gathering over 1000 suppliers from 37 different countries from January 37 to February 2 in the city of Munich (Germany). The indigo and denim manufacturer is taking part in the German show with the support of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Among new products for the year’s hottest season are functional products that are notable for their sustainable innovations. In the High Technology line, Dryarn® technology is used for the first time in articles that guarantee well-being even in different types of weather. While the Eco Recycle line contains denims that contribute to cutting back on natural resources wasted in production. The Shirting Collection and Perfect Fit collections are also getting unique fabrics, with special dyes that allow for a wide range of jeanswear washes.

“For S/S ’18, we prioritized concepts such as sustainability, supported by technology, to create products that surprise our customers. There is nothing better than taking these new products to Munich Fabric Start, a show that always brings together creative minds in the market. We hope that our launches stand out among an increasingly demanding public,” says Thomas Dislich, Vicunha’s Asia and Europe Director. In addition to welcoming buyers, journalists and opinion-makers, the show will have various inspiration forums and a so-called Bluezone area, showcasing the latest in the denim segment.
